20yrs old. female. liberal. currently coming into my own., Transferring to USC. Broadcast/Print Journalism. I am shamelessly self involved. I'm into art&photography&music. I like going to museums, art festivals, concerts, signings [music or book], and writing poetry and prose. I also have a pretty disgusting addiction to reality TV shows and VH1 shows are probably the best creation known to man (i.e., Best Week Ever, I love the 70's/80's/90's, Fabulous Life Of..., Celebrity Fit Club, Surreal Life, etc.) I actually don't watch t.v. very much at all anymore and the only program I tune into regularly is FAMILY GUY (aka the best show ever.) Baseball is my favorite sport. I try to avoid confrontation and drama at all costs. I'm just not into that shit. I think they call it 'maturity' ? Not too sure though., I'm liberated and won't conform to any old-fashioned standards of what a 'woman' should be in society. Sure I'll cook you dinner and have your kids, but only after I've finished school, reached the top of my career path and broken my fair share of hearts., I live in Arizona - but my heart will always be in California [Orange&Sonoma County].I am not impressed by big trucks, motorcylces, muscle cars, or noisy Hondas..but luxury vehicles are a different story.I am a label whore. I love retail.I have a tendency to waste my free time doing non-productive things. I have a tendency to take things too personally. I would describe my humor as a combination of dry, witty, sarcastic, and goofy. I find myself drawn to needy people. I usually make myself to-do lists and then never accomplish anything. I am stubborn. I usually do my own thing regardless of people's advice simply because I need to learn by experience. Although this does prove to be the most hurtful way. I usually make poor decisions even though I've already predicted the sour outcome. I have a large circle of male friends. Girls are just too much drama and cattyness. I've narrowed my girl friends to a precious few. If you're feelings are the same than perhaps I can add you to my circle. I have a really hard time letting things go, tangible and intangible. Every room I inhabit is cluttered with useless things. But it's disheveled in a way which only I know where things are. I am addicted to text messaging (to the annoyance of many). My expression of choice is music. I love finding songs and lyrics I can relate to. I have a hard time expressing my true feelings but am able to when I know it's important. I alternate between feelings of extreme motivation and responsibility - to total flakiness, laziness, and procrastination. I have a soft spot for animals and the environment. In 5th grade I convinced my class to chip in so we could adopt an acre of rainforest. I am a strong english student. I love writing papers. I won the spelling bee in 6th grade and continued on to district because I am a bad ass like that. I am a weak math student. I love to travel. I want to visit every continent. And ever since I was little I've wanted to visit every state in the U.S. (for some odd reason). I am currently trying to master the Spanish language. Other cultures fascinate me. I enjoy reading a good book when I have the time. I've had a guitar for about 5 years now but haven't had the patience to teach myself to play. I have the passion to dance but haven't quite mastered how to use my body as an instrument properly. I love the rush of a performance but am petrified of crowds. There is nothing about myself I'm ashamed of, just things I think I can improve.
